At RPS, we believe that cultural and social activities can greatly contribute to a student’s success. Excursions give students an opportunity to apply their classroom lessons to real-world situations, while building on existing friendships.
Some of the fields trips and social excursions include:
- The Distillery District (a converted section of the city specializing in public and private art displays).
- Sporting events – Toronto Raptors (Basketball), Toronto Blue Jays (Baseball), Toronto Maple Leafs (Hockey), Toronto FC (Soccer), and Toronto Argonauts (Football).
- Famous Universities – Ranging from Waterloo, Western, Queens, UFT, Schulich School of Business at York University, and others
- Various parks and conservation areas to discuss environmental impacts
- Casa Loma to discuss architecture and business intelligence of Sir Henry Mill Pellatt
- Stratford to watch Shakespeare Plays
- AGO, ROM and other art galleries / museums.
- Famous landmarks like Niagara Falls. Centre Island, and the CN Tower
